The New Apartment

This little girl has arrived at her new apartment. It is custom-made for a friend of mine who just moved into a new place and wanted me to make her a card to commemorate the occasion (and it is one in a set of cards that I am making for her in exchange for her mailing back to me the clothes I left at her apartment in Stockholm). The idea for this card came one night when I looked up at an apartment building and saw all the windows lit up like bright rectangles against the dark sky. After much experimentation, I came to this:
