Creepy Thanksgiving cards from days past

What better way to say 'happy Thanksgiving' than two children, dressed in their Sunday best, carrying a pair of dead birds? Available on Etsy.

Last year, Mitya and I hit up an antique postcard, coin, and stamp fair, where, among other things, we stumbled upon early 20th century Thanksgiving postcards. These postcards, many of which showcased cute children trying to hunt and trap turkeys, would shock even the most enthusiastic carnivore. So, in the spirit of Thanksgiving and celebrating America's past, I've shared some of the most creepy vintage Thanksgiving postcards I've found, courtesy of Etsy.
