The Homeshow

was yesterday and I have to say it went pretty well. We managed to squeeze all 11 sellers into my apartment and came up with a dental floss contraption to hold the front door open. We also found a doorman (roommate of one of the sellers who came with her to the show)! The weather was bad but we were still able to get a fairly steady stream of visitors, including Grace and Rob (thank you!), and it was fun sitting around and chatting with the other sellers. I think we were lucky in that all of us got along very well and there were no particularly difficult personalities in the group. I've been in other organizations where the power struggle supersedes the goal of the org and that's no fun. And not to mention, I made over $100 in card sales! It definitely beats selling on Etsy.
